So if it wasn't enough that they kept on giving away free prizes over their facebook page and showing tournaments with their lavish equipment, they have kept on putting aside the plans for huge profits and have surged on with a new direction in supporting the gaming community with a new prize tournament (10k prize pot) for a female StarCraft 2 tournament.

ZOWIE knows that female gamers are trying very hard to be accepted in the community for their effort and dedication in the games they play, rather than just for “being a girl in a male world”,

Now we know the girls here in Tplay don't just try and fit in but rule the dam community but that doesn't mean they won't see the bold attempt made by ZOWIE here to put some more money at the feed of the Ladies.



The greatest thing about this Lan Event, which is taking place in China is ZOWIE's Divina project... This project's purpose is to scour the world for the top Female SC2 players not from China and, if found worthy, will be provided full travel & accomodation funding for the event! That's a fantastic idea and can only hope the lucky girls who get picked enjoy their experience and go on to win the tournament!

If you don't know who James Banks is then your a bad bad person who needs to know how Tplay were blessed with the backing ...

So here we are two days after lan, fingers taped up, voice lost and one big hungering desire to play MORE GAMES!!!!! The lan curse has as always left its mark on me and I'm sure it's the same for the rest of the people who came into contact with the TP Mob.

Where to start.... do we talk about the incident in helping the police apprehend a felon!?! Do we talk about Tplay playing Tplay?!? do we talk about the H2O boys winning the epic final of the TP Lan box "round-of-Beer" competition?? So much going on it's hard to put into words but a great lan was definately had by all.

The TwistedPlay box was a packed place with balloons, sweets and party fever! With everyone getting along really well and TP Crooked making their first appearance as a TP team at i43, we were blessed with new fresh people in the Tp Community mixed up with the normal legends like YOURS TRULY. The only problem we can see next lan is trying to fit more than the maximum of 32 people in our box!! :O

With a fine run of form we ended up having two teams finishing in the final twelve places (noteably - OVH finishing 7th-8th in what was one of the highest skilled I-Series seen for a long time. We also have to mention the PMS Girls doing their thing and making themselves known to the exhibition centre ripping it up in any fun tourney and also showing their skill in the electric shock gun game! It really was a immature, childish and messy lan. Exactly how we like it!

Lastly I'd like to thank all our sponsors that helped make this possible. ZOWIE for providing TP with some fantastic products. OVH for being behind us with server support & PMS/H2O for backing us throughout the year.

Let's hope we can build on our relations with these sponsors and making TP an even bigger and better monster than it already is!

Ok people I am in need desperately of your I43 booking ID's as of currently I have only the people marked in red...

Well we didn't come home with the gold but we sure did make a name of ourselves there by presence, attitude, charisma, sexyness and ofcourse a strong css performance by the TP.OVH boys who were in such good form they took our lan favourites, our very own H2O boys & previous years runners up TLR!

Both teams would have liked to go on further but unfortunately ran into each other earlier than expected and with a great performance on ct side saw our H2O boys not having an answer to crack down a ct inferno lock down and with that we saw the Hard2Own boys coming in a solid 5th place (but Im sure this will be a big disappointment to them). On the other hand the OVH team were one game away from the final but ran into an in-form Link Gaming seeing them finish off in 3rd (whether they were fully satisfied with that result after the form they were playing in, only they can answer that).

Still no other org could proudly state two teams finishing in the top 5 and we are so pleased to have that range of skill in our community. Someone just needs to keep Bowzar quiet!!

Thanks for every TP Member who competed or simply turned up at the event to get drunk. You all do us proud & A Big thank you to Epic Lan and our sponsors OVH ZOWIE & PMS for supporting us all the way!

Hi people, Gom8z here reporting to you LIVE from.... well from my blooming office desk and not at Epic Lan like I would have wished!
But there's no point crying over spilt milk and TwistedPlay is still flying the flag thanks to the work of the OVH & H2O boys. The boys have been put in their respective groups (luckily avoiding each other) and will hope to meet each other in the final!

Ok People So I'm in discussion with Multiplay and they tell me we are in for a box but need to provide the 32 i43 booking id's that will be sitting in the box and then will be requiring the £320 cash payment (ie the £10 from each of us) up front.
